Furry friends are our favorite! We allow dogs in select rooms and throughout the common areas on property. We ask that they are leashed and under control at all times. Please note that pets are not to be left alone in rooms during your visit.

There is a one-time pet fee per visit of $75 plus tax. This can be added as an additional fee when you book online, or at check-in. Please notify us in advance if you are bringing a dog so we can arrange a pet-friendly room for your stay, which is allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Our pool is open year round and heated to a comfortable 85 degrees. The hot tub is open year round for your enjoyment. Don’t forget your bathing suit (and something extra cozy to wrap yourself in those winter months such as a robe).

Breakfast is available for purchase in our lobby daily from 7 AM – 10 AM. We offer a small menu with items such as yogurt parfaits, breakfast burritos, and if you’re feeling a little decadent, waffles! We recommend adding whipped cream for good measure.

We have diner options within walking distance from the hotel.

The Tahoe South website is a great reference point for current and upcoming events in the area, such as the annual American Century Celebrity Golf Championship or Tahoe Brewfest.

On site, we offer seasonal experiences that vary month to month. For upcoming events, click here and select the ‘Events’ tab. A map of our suggested activities from hiking to dining may also be found here.

In the winter, temps can drop down to single digits at night. We recommend winter gear for these months with varying layers. In the summer, temps can also drop considerably during the evening and we recommend a warm sweater for adventuring outside at night. Sunscreen, water, and good hiking boots are always a good thing to pack anytime of year so you’re always ready for your next adventure!
