On Foot
Callicoon
Located on the banks of the Delaware River, Callicoon is a charming town steeped in history and rich in sightseeing opportunities. Callicoon is about a 15 minute drive from Callicoon Hills and offers eating and drinking options, shopping, a local farmers market, and the historic Callicoon Theater.
Livingston Manor
Livingston Manor, about a 15 minute drive from Callicoon Hills, is an historic town set alongside the Willowemoc river at the southeast edge of the 300,000 acre Catskill Park. Main Street has several restaurants, art and antique shops, and is the scene of an annual ‘trout parade’ in June. Livingston Manor is also known as the birthplace of American fly fishing and the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum is on the north edge of the town.
Fishing
Roscoe, 10 minutes up the road, is a haven for anglers, with 5 of America’s top trout streams. Located in the southwestern section of the Catskill Mountains, this region is blessed with rugged mountains, pristine rivers, lakes, and ponds. Just west of town, the world-renowned Beaverkill River and Willowemoc Creek meet in the legendary Junction Pool. A short ride west of town, angles will find the East Branch, West Branch, and the Main Stem of the Delaware River. These rivers provide anglers with world-class trout fishing and other diversified river fishing opportunities.

In addition to our on-site Rise & Shine Coffee and Conover Club, you’ll find a number of enjoyable drinking and dining establishments nearby. The landscapes of Sullivan County are ripe for farming and restaurant menus reflect the abundance of locally available products. Nearby Upward Brewing is located on a 120-acre preserve called “Beer Mountain”. Hike to the top before enjoying their beers.

Sullivan County
Since the 19th century, visitors have flocked to Sullivan County and the Catskills. Hundreds of resorts grew forming a legendary reputation for hospitality. The Beaverkill and Willowemoc – and the Delaware river drew anglers from all over the world. In 1969, half a million visitors came to Bethel for three days of peace, love, and music at the Woodstock Music and Art Festival. Today you’ll find several charming and historic towns to explore. Callicoon Center
Callicoon Center, our home, is a hamlet in Sullivan County on the western edge of the Catskills and sits at 1,253 feet of elevation. Within the hamlet, you’ll find a small playground and park just down the road from Callicoon Hills. Callicoon Center is perhaps best known for the Callicoon Center Band, which has been active since 1934.
